Summer Term is nearly upon us.

What a year we have had! Resilience is the word that springs to mind. Covid-19 has locked us down and had such a massive impact on all aspects of our lives. What we have noticed at preschool is just how resilient all the children have been, showing the staff that lockdown and long periods of time away has not dampened their spirit or love of learning through play. It has been wonderful to see ALL the children back in these past couple of weeks and watch their confidence/independence grow again.

We are looking forward to a (hopefully) much more normal Summer Term with our usual events taking place. We missed out on Sports Day and Leaver’s Celebrations last year so are very much hoping that these can happen this Summer. Dates to be announced very soon.

In the meantime, we will be following the children’s passions, interests and wonderings to extend their knowledge through play. Longing for some better weather and keeping ourselves safe and hopefully Covid free!
