Our committee
Frittenden Pre-school is a charity and can only stay open if it is run by a committee of parents. These parents are the trustees of our charity, they volunteer their time and are crucial to the survival of our preschool.
Research shows clear benefits for children when parents become actively involved in their child’s learning and development from a young age.

All parents are automatically invited to become members of the committee, and some choose to play a more active role by fulfilling key positions. Volunteering for your child’s parent run committee offers an ideal opportunity for you to become actively and practically involved in this aspect of your child’s life. If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions below then please do consider becoming part of our committee:
• are you interested in learning new skills?
• would you like to meet new people?
• would you like to share your skills, time and ideas with others?
• have you ever wanted to contribute to the development of your child’s setting?
As a charitable organisation we need a strong and vibrant committee to help manage and further develop the pre-school.

Our current main fundraising goal is to erect a permanent canopy over our outside space, to allow for better accessibility to outside play all year round, and to provide much needed shade in the summer. Do keep a look out for meetings and please support any events organised to help us reach our goal.

We always welcome new parents to join the committee, it’s always great to see new faces and get different ideas and suggestions. For further information, or just a chat about how to get involved please talk to:
