Autumn Term

Terms 1 and 2

We start of the school year and the Autumn Term on Monday 2nd September to welcome in our new starters and welcome back our last years children in what we hope will be a lovely term!

As always we will be following the children’s interests and creating lots of opportunities to learn through play.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

30th September to 6th OctoberHarvest Festival Week – we will be putting a little spin on it this year by taking donations for people and animals and donating to local food banks.

21st to 25th OctoberHalloween Week – as Halloween happens in our half term we will be celebrating and decorating preschool the week. Expect spooky creations and yummy gooey treats coming home.

We break up for half term on Friday 25th October

We return for Term 2 on Monday 4th November

4th to 8th November – There is so much happening that first week back, Bonfire Night is on the 5th, we will be creating fireworks crafts to celebrate. It is also Remembrance Day on the 10th November, we will be carrying out activities this week to show the importance of Remembrance Day.

Tuesday 12th November – We will have a Preschool Photo Morning for those that would like to take part.

Monday 16th DecemberChristmas Party Morning and End of Term – instead of a normal preschool session we have a Christmas Party for all preschool children to attend from 9am – 12pm (there will be no afternoon session that day). We will be having endless Christmas fun and games, party food and possibly a visit from the big man himself.

We have signed up to Easyfundraising, a free fundraising platform that allows us to earn money when we all shop online. With over 7000 retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Boots and Booking.com just to mention a few, there really is something for everyone!
