Spring Term

Term 4

This Term is all about the hopeful beginning of Spring (20th March), Mothers Day and Easter.

As always we will be following the children’s interests and creating lots of opportunities and incorporating the EYFS while we learn through play.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Ready Steady Read – 3rd till 7th March – To celebrate World Book Day (6th March) we will be raising money through reading to be able to get some new books for preschool to enjoy. We read so many books everyday and twice a day as a group so you can only imagine how many stories we read a week. Its been a while since our little Library corner had a revamp and it would be lovely to have some new books to really sink out teeth into. All you need to do to take part is to be sponsored to read with your children.

Pancake Day – 4th March

First Day of Spring – 20th March – Our subject focus for Term 4 will be spring and the joys that come with lighter days, blossoming flowers, spring animals and the beginning of warmer weather.

Mothers Day – 30th March – Lots of lovely secret creations will be being made in the run up to mothers day.

Easter – Easter is very late this year and is at the end of our Spring break but we will still be bringing the joys of Easter to preschool. We plan to celebrate before we break up and once we are back.

End of Term is Friday 4th April

We return for Term 5 on Tuesday 22nd April

Easyfundraising

We have signed up to Easyfundraising, a free fundraising platform that allows us to earn money when we all shop online. With over 7000 retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Boots and Booking.com just to mention a few, there really is something for everyone! Please follow the link to register and share with any family and friends if they would also like to help. Once registered all you have to remember is to make sure that you shop via the Easyfundraising website or App and not via the retailer directly.
